Dungeon Quest Reborn is not the original Voldex crawler. If the Roblox header shows place 2414851778, you launched official Dungeon Quest and this page will teach you the wrong doors, the wrong second ability, and the wrong shop. Close it. Search Dungeon Quest Reborn until the URL shows place 77649408247578. That experience launched 24 March 2026 under Delta Quarters OG, is Voldex-licensed, and still had a client touch on 28 August 2026. Late August trackers put visits north of 38.5 million and concurrent players around 40k. None of that gold, gear, or stat page will ever appear on the original account. Inventories never transfer. This first-hour guide is for Reborn only. The official on-ramp stays on Getting Started with Q and E, Extra Item at 1200 R$, and the 17-door checker. Bookmark both if you play both. Do not mix the numbers.

Confirm the client before you press Start

Two lobbies share desert hallways and a gold vendor. They do not share accounts. Official Dungeon Quest is Voldex on place 2414851778, universe 848145103, seventeen story doors, last door Abyssal Void from 11 October 2024, and no codes. Reborn is a separate Roblox experience with a retuned climb that currently lists Northern Lands at 350. If a friend pastes “Nightmare 55 Winter,” they are quoting the original. First-hour controls (Reborn, not official)

Sportskeeda’s 28 August 2026 control writeup for DQR is the map we trust until the lobby says otherwise:

• WASD to move
• Space to jump
• Left mouse to auto-attack
• Q for ability 1
• F for ability 2

That last key is the trap. Official Dungeon Quest fires the second ability on E. Reborn fires it on F. If you mash E in a Desert Temple pack, you are pressing a dead key while the slime eats you. The official Controls page is correct for 2414851778 and wrong for this client. Learn Q and F here. Then watch the cooldown gems instead of the chat.

Start Mage, not a hybrid

Community August 2026 beginner lists still open Mage. Range, Poison Cloud from DQR Desert Temple, and a heal button keep a new account alive while the party carries the clock. Dump the spell axis. Do not split Strength and Intelligence “just in case.” Warrior is the respec later, once Physical gear can live in melee. Tank and Healer are party roles, not first-hour identities. Details sit on DQR classes. Free Stat Resets exist in the DQR shop because that Mage-then-Warrior path is expected. You will not need the pass in hour one.

A Mage who actually presses heals is how people ride to the mid-100s. A Mage who never heals is a worse Warrior standing in the back. Invite people. Online co-op is the design.

Skip Egg Island, farm Desert Temple

Egg Island is level 1 and it looks like a tutorial. It is cosmetics only. There is no honest XP hose there. Walk past it. The people grinding Egg Island for “first levels” are sightseeing.

Desert Temple is the first real hallway, also level 1. Run Easy, then Medium, the moment you can finish without a wipe. DQR difficulties are Easy / Medium / Hard / Insane / Nightmare, plus a Hardcore overlay that asks for one life. Do not queue Nightmare because a YouTuber titled the tape “Noob To Godly.” That video is a climb, not a first lobby. Hardcore is for a map you already finished on a normal life count.

A late-August 2026 table then lists Winter Outpost 45, Pirate Island 80, King’s Castle 110, Underworld 140, Canals 170, Ghastly Harbor 200, Steampunk 230, Orbital 260, Aquatic 290, Enchanted Forest 320, Northern Lands 350. As of 30 August 2026 the Roblox title reads [Northern Lands] Dungeon Quest Reborn — that door is live. Some roundups still name Samurai, Volcanic, Gilded, Yokai, Void, and Hela. Trust the lobby. Do not invent a row so a farm route looks familiar. Skip Egg Island. Gold: DQR gold farming. Trades: DQR trading.

There are no codes

Destructoid and other August 2026 trackers still show an empty Active list for Reborn. Official Dungeon Quest is empty too. Codes will not drop gold, XP, or a respec. Fake Discord strings are still fake. Daily habits on the original client do not clone onto this shop. Farm the hallway you can finish.

Gold versus Robux in hour one

Reborn sells game passes for gold and Robux. Official Extra Item is 1200 R$ on the Voldex client and does not apply here. In DQR, community August 2026 shop tags still quote x2 Gold near 899 R$ or 672K gold, Extra Item near 1599 R$ or 1.5M gold, VIP near 799 R$ or 672K, Free Stat Resets near 299 R$ or 672K. XP boosts sold for gold sit around +100% for 1 hour 2.4M / 2 hours 4.4M / 4 hours 10.1M. Confirm every tag in the live DQR shop. If you spend gold, buy Double Gold before Extra Item so later purchases get cheaper. The full buy order lives on DQR game passes. Official shop pages stay on Game Passes, Extra Item, and DQ Plus — those SKUs belong to the other game.

You do not need a pass in the first hour. You need a clear you can finish, a party, and one damage axis.

A clean first session

1. Confirm place 77649408247578 in the Roblox header.
2. Equip a mage kit. Put the pack clear on Q and the heal or second spell on F.
3. Skip Egg Island.
4. Create a four-player Easy Desert Temple, then Medium.
5. Vendor junk. Upgrade one spell piece, not every blue.
6. Stop when you wipe twice. Read the dungeon table before Winter Outpost.
