Quest Reborn Dungeon Quest Pets — There Are None

No companion pets on official DQ or Reborn. Here is what that search actually wants.

Pets Guide

Dungeon Quest does not have a companion pet system. There is no Hound that picks gold, no Imp that steals loot, no Fairy that extra-rolls dailies, no Phoenix revive familiar, and no Titan that pulses AoE. Those names belong to a different Dungeon Quest — the older non-Roblox MMORPG on a different wiki. This site is for Roblox Dungeon Quest (Voldex, place 2414851778) and for Dungeon Quest Reborn. Neither experience equips a pet slot.

If you searched “Dungeon Quest pets,” you are not lost. Players use that phrase for five real loops: Gregg the drop-in fight, event mascots Bob / Gurk / Gregg, the cosmetics wardrobe, the Extra Item pass, and the AFK farming portal. This page is the disambiguation, then a farm map.

The video in the middle is a real complete-game tape that covers Gregg. Watch it for lobby context, then come back so you do not buy a “pet” in Lobby 2.

There is no pet slot

Official Fandom navigation for the Roblox game lists Ability, Armor, Ring, Weapon, Cosmetics, Gregg, Boosts, and Passes. Pets are not on that list because they are not in the client. You cannot open a Pets tab, you cannot spend gold on a familiar, and you cannot put a companion in a trade window.

Dungeon Quest Reborn is a separate Delta Quarters OG experience (place 77649408247578, launched 24 March 2026, licensed by Voldex). It rebuilt the OG hallway with gold shop passes and Egg Island cosmetic enchants. Inventories never transfer. It also has no companion pets. A Reborn thumbnail that says “pets” is still pointing at mascots, hats, or Gregg.

A blog that ranks Hound versus Imp versus Fairy for this crawler copied the wrong wiki. Treat those tables as fiction here. Power still lives on the Weapons and Armor lists, not on a familiar you never owned.

What searchers actually want

Gregg — the 75-second drop-in

Gregg shipped on 25 April 2024. He is a bearded humanoid in black clothes and a feather hat who can fall out of the ceiling after you clear a room. Community spawn talk still sits near one in three eligible rooms. Beat him in 75 seconds for extra loot, gold, and 1–3 crafting materials. Fail the timer and he laughs and leaves with nothing. He yields no EXP.

He does not spawn in legacy Desert Temple or Winter Outpost, Wave Defense, Boss Raids, or event maps. Remaster Desert and later story doors can host him. Gilded Skies has the most rooms. Yokai Peak can spawn him in every non-boss room.

Materials feed the Champion (Warrior) and Oracle (Mage) craft ladders at the Lobby 1 Craftsman. Those legendaries are not tradable, not sellable, and not upgradeable. Crafting the next rung deletes the previous weapon. Full coin mechanics, Wealth Shield, and the 605-material climb live on the Gregg guide. The mat table is Crafting Materials. Extra Item does not add a Gregg roll unless you used Gregg’s Bounty.

Gregg is a boss, not a pet. You do not equip him. You fight him, or you miss him.

Event mascots — Bob, Gurk, and Gregg

Lobby and event art still uses Bob, Gurk, and Gregg as mascots. They show up in event thumbnails, shop frames, and seasonal props. They do not follow you down a hallway. They do not auto-loot. They do not add a third daily roll.

When an event is live, the lobby timer or a special NPC tells you. Past windows include 2x Gregg Materials (3–8 July 2024), Mechanical Menace, cosmetic shop rotations, and the closed Abyssal Voyage. Read Events for what actually dropped. A mascot screenshot is not a companion unlock, and a 2022 Discord PNG is not a 2026 farm.

Cosmetics and the wardrobe

If you wanted a creature skin, you wanted cosmetics. The featured Robux shop and the daily gold shop sell armor, weapon, enchant, and aura looks. Dungeon Achiever titles and skins can drop on eligible clears at a low rate. None of that is a pet. None of that raises Physical or Spell Power. A hat on a blue staff is still a blue staff.

Dungeon Quest Reborn’s Egg Island sells cosmetic enchants only. That is still not a pet inventory. Do not paste a DQR gold-shop hat price into the official Robux table.

Extra Item — the extra roll people confuse with a loot pet

The Extra Item pass costs 1200 Robux. It adds one extra item to dungeon chests, Wave Defense, Boss Raids, and dailies. Hardcore already doubles a story-map roll, so Extra Item on Hardcore is three pieces. It is not an Imp. It is not a steal chance on every kill. It is a store pass.

The full shop list is on Game Passes. VIP is 1.2x EXP and a look. 2x Gold doubles gold. Weapon enchant passes are visual. None of them summon a familiar. Buy Extra Item after you already finish Nightmare on the map you farm, not because a blog promised a pet.

AFK mode — passive gold without a gold-hound

The official AFK farming portal sits in the lobby. Gold ticks immediately. First item drop at 30 minutes. Platinum at 60 minutes. Premium members earn extra. AFK does not spawn Gregg, does not pay EXP, and does not match Nightmare chest quality. Use it when you cannot play. When you can play, run dungeons with a party.

Lobby 2 “pet” scams

Pets are not a tradeable slot in this game. Anyone in Lobby 2 selling a Hound, Imp, Fairy, Phoenix, Titan, or “rare pet hatch” is running a scam. There is nothing to inspect, nothing to put in the trade window, and nothing to receive.

Champion and Oracle crafts also cannot leave the account that made them. Inspect every real trade anyway: How to trade. Codes will not spawn a pet either — the Codes Hub is empty. A script menu that “unlocks all pets” is an injector. The Scripts Hub lists the risk. A banned account farms nothing.

How to farm instead of hunting a pet

  1. If you want extra loot per run, finish Nightmare with a party, then consider Extra Item. Use the dungeon checker.
  2. If you want materials and a guaranteed legendary ladder, farm Gregg on maps with many rooms.
  3. If you want a look, buy one featured cosmetic after you upgrade the piece you actually wear — How to upgrade.
  4. If you want gold while you sleep, stand in the AFK portal. Vendor the junk before the next dungeon.
  5. If a thumbnail says Dungeon Quest Reborn pets, start at Quest Reborn and confirm you launched the right place ID. Still no companion pets there.

Play the official experience. Invite friends. Online co-op still clears more maps than a fictional hound. Check the Updates Hub if Voldex ever ships a real companion slot — until then, this page stays a redirect to Gregg, looks, Extra Item, and AFK.
